Did you know that every day, every minute, every second, waste enters the environment? And the trash in the earth's crust grows. Do you want to know where I learned this? I learned it from a book written by Christiane Dorion. This writer's book tell's us about the damage of the earthly garbage to us.
This book tells us how we can save the environment and how we should be careful what we throw away because it is so bad for the environment. For example, one baby diaper stays in the earth for about 550 years! There are other examples too. Plastic packages last 1000 years, and glass bottles can last for 1 billion years!
I liked this book because, if you read it, you will learn more about the environment and will care more too. I felt happy reading this book, and I dreamed that I lived in a more environmentally friendly world.
I think kids will enjoy this book because they can learn many different ways to try to help save the world. If you haven't read it yet, you should!
Hey! This year I've read lot's of amazing and fun books, but my favourite book was 'Recycling and Rubbish.' Inside this book you learn lots of cool facts, fun activities, and ideas about recycling. You learn so many cool things inside! My favourite fact was that you can use compost to make soil.
The main topic of this book is recycling, and it is a nice book to read. I read the book because I care about animals, and if we throw garbage in the grass, water, or the road, it affects animals. We are leaving them a bad and dirty world. I was sad for the animals, so I thought reading this book might teach me how to help. They live in the world too!
This book helped me understand a lot about recycling. Did you know that most rubbish goes into a bin, but lots of it could be collected and turned into new things? This is called recycling. Food and garden waste rots away. This rotten waste is useful stuff called compost. There are good things that come from garbage! There are millions of used diapers still sitting in landfill sites around the world. Each time paper is recycled, it loses quality, so it is used to make lower and lower quality paper, like: printing paper, low quality paper, newspaper, and toilet paper!
If you've never read it, I recommend you read this amazing, enjoyable, and lovely book to you.
This year, I've read lots of books, but this one was the best! It is called 'All New Crafts for Earth Day,' by Kathy Ross. This shows you how to recycle lots of old materials and make them new as possible.
This book teaches you fun and exciting ways to recycle used materials. For example, if you have a plastic bottle, you could throw it in the trash, but you shouldn't! This book teaches you to make the bottle into a beautiful craft. You could turn it into a vase, a puppet, or a toy car. Another example is that you could use old game card to make stick puppets too. Read it and learn!
I like this book because I love making new things, and I love recycling too! So I am going to use this book to make new things, plus, recycling equals this book. This book really helped me to understand that there are lots of things you can do with things instead of putting them into the trash.
Every kid loves doing strange things, so read this book and learn how to do it. If you've never read this book before, I really recommend it!
